The estate boasts complete production autonomy with its fifteen hectares under vine. The cultivation of the vines with short pruning, thinning out and harvesting done strictly by hand in small crates allow us to obtain grapes of the highest quality and with particular varietal characteristics, which are enhanced by the vinification process in the cellar.
And it is in our cellar that the fermentation, frothing and maturation of the wines takes place, enhancing all their organoleptic properties. Ours can be defined as an oenology of enhancement, and it is no coincidence that the Tenuta La Ratta cellar is equipped with innovative 4.0 equipment that makes it a flagship in the area. Always maintaining the highest quality standards, guaranteed by a staff of oenologists, we offer our customers excellent wine, which can be tasted in our wine shop.

Giovanni and Carmen have been the founders of the estate and the pillars of the company since the early 1980s.
Since the 1990s, Giovanni has expanded the estate’s surface area to its current size, planting modern vineyards; subsequently, with the entry of his son Massimo, the estate’s current CEO, the oenological side has also undergone significant technological development.
